Data Boiler

Data Boiler is a database; it is a spin off of TAMS Analyzer which is a program that supports qualitative research projects. TAMS consists of three interactive pieces: a document coder, a project manager, and an analysis tool.

Data Boiler is the analysis tool set free. It now will take  as input any tab-separated file or comma separated file allow you sort and select, transform and view your file in a number of helpful ways.  It is a flat file database which can be searched and re-searched to locate the information you need. It allows you to do complex set operations with the rows of your data base, and it has amazing charting and graphing ability--the latter through AT&T’s graphviz program.

Like TAMS, Data Boiler is open source. With work it could be moved to run on GNUStep and any system that supports GNUStep
